Hello friends, next piece to my stupid gamble. Bought a 83 26ft slickcraft w/a pair of non running 470's, nope did not do a seatrial either (did do a compression test, both good). Does anyone know what the part number (or replacement part #) is to the oildyne trim pump with the aluminum reservoir and the plastic manual release screw is? Christmas coming up and i always ask my wife for a marine part i need. I was going to pull it out and bench test/trouble shoot it but know it wont run jumping it to 12v per the manual so If wifey will spring for a whole unit i can play with the old one at my leisure while i am not boating? Thank you.

I looked in the service manual #6 on this forum and it doesnt have the part #. I also looked on this site to support iboats but only saw the plastic reservoir type.

Regarding the stupid gamble. Have 1 running and am waiting for parts for a carb rebuild on the 2nd. It does have the alt conversion and 4 inch riser done to both, so we'll see where this goes. Feel like i am restoring an edsel.

So i guess the oem is probably no longer available. I have been searching the internet for quite some time. Please dont be offended Bond-O but it looks to me that if you accidentally smack a wrench against the plastic one it will hit the floor. The aluminum one will stay put.

Ayuh,... It's current prodution,...
It's Much easier to service,...
If you've got the reverse lock on the transom, you can loose it,..
All ya gotta do it mount it,+ plumb it,....

Just don't Smack it with a Wrench....

Thank you Mr. Bond-O, do you think customer service here (iboats parts) is knowledgable enough to provide me the correct replacement part #? Do you know which one is interchangeable?

Dang Jill are you customer service for Iboats? Do you have that for the starboard engine. If all the electrical parts are on the left side I will have a hard time hooking them up. If i purchase do you have a rep # i can reference?

not sure about ref number. as far as i know these are not port or starboard sensitive. only one style either old like you have or new with plastic.

That wasnt a ref # it was a service representative #. If you are hanging out here helping it wouldnt hurt to have us all buy are stuff from you. If your sales went up like 250% your boss might dig it.
