Oiler Clip question... '57 18hp fd11

[BOB IN NAMPA]

brand new to this site, new to outboard motors. Can somebody help me out with where the oiler clip for the magneto plate goes? I loosened the plate and lifted it. I had taken pictures of the intact head but I can't see the oiler clip in the photo. What does it oil and where is it attached to the magneto plate? Thanks in advance for any help.

It attaches under the front coil.---Fairly obvious if you lift the coil up.-----It lubes the cam to prevent excessive wear to points rubbing block.

Thanks for the info, racer one. sure missed that when I pulled the coils.
