Ah gee guys and gals, makes me fill all fuzzy and warm inside with all this worry over little oh me.<br /><br />Sorry, but this is the first chance back at the screen since last Tuesday morning.<br /><br />This is what happened.<br />Like most rich white honkies, I can and do take off at the drop of a hat to go fishing, so when my pal calls at 6am Wednesday and says, "Hey Lester, want to go to the Holler?" what was I suppose to say?<br /><br />So that is what I did. I gathered up some Silver Buddies, some top water lures and my F&F outfit and he picked me up and away we went.<br /><br />Had to pay for nothing, but I could not let him do that so I bought the gas, he had everything else paid for.<br /><br />Had a cabin paid for for the week at Horse Creek, had the 2200 Gambler in tow so away we went.<br />Got there and got stuff put in cabin and went out for a few hours that evening and had some good fishing.<br /><br />This is without a doubt, one of the best trips I have been on in a long time.<br /><br />The holler is turning on good right now is all I can say.
<br /><br />The top water bite was on early and late and the deep bite was there all day up against the rock walls.<br /><br />Never got more than 5 miles from the marina the whole time, stayed right around Wolfe Creek.<br /><br />I practiced some with the F&F and even managed to catch 4 or 5 on it.<br /><br />Well, again, sorry for the rush out, but like I said, I don't miss a chance to go fishing when I can.<br /><br />KG, I got you email just now.

<br /><br />I did not even take the cell phone with me, go figure.<br /><br />Ok, now back to normal programming.
