old engine 35hp johnson 1959

i have an old 1959 johnson 35hp engine that i have yet to get started, but was wondering a couple of things and was hoping you'll guys on the forum could help. i need to know the fuel to gas ratio for this engine and the spark plug gap??? and any of you'll know what should be done first in getting this old beast to run again. it ran great about seven years ago but was parked ever since.

Howdy, Joe.<br /><br />Your fuel mix is 24:1, 1qt TC-W3 oil to 6 gallons 87 octane.<br /><br />Spark plugs are Champion J4C (replaced J4J) gapped at .030".<br /><br />Go to the Engine FAQs about awakening a sleeping outboard.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

watch you water flow 7 years the impellor will probably disintergrate.
