Absolutely! I am in the process of restoring one right now. It is a "Detachable Rowboat Motor", Ole Evinrudes new contraption. The one shown has a reverse (as does mine). The whole gearcase pivots around to point the other direction for reverse, then pivots around again for forward. Steering tiller rotates the gearcase, the rest of the motor is stationary and doesn't even tilt. Mine is a 1918.

Hey FR, are the rowboat outboards battery powered ignitions like some of the later ruddertwins?

That one looks like later 19-teens, as evidenced by the reverse mechanism (lower unit rotates backwards), the stampings in the tank, and the prescence of the exhaust cutout. Here's a pic of our 1909, serial #780...
