Old Merc 500 with a new control box question?

I made it a new topic so someone wil read it again.

In this topic Ladies told me how to hook up my new control. To now it for sure because i am a little insecure.

I have hooked up the wires as shown in the following picture like LADIES said.

Is this all right? Can someone confirm that!

I find it a bit scarey to test it because i don't wannablow the engine.

I wanna now for sure so please help.

The colours of the wires that i wrote on the picture myself are the colours of my quicksilver controller.

The colours of the wires from my new control bax are as followed;

Blue with a with stripe
Green with a white stripe
Black with a white stripe
Yellow wit a red stripe
Yellow with a black stripe
Black with a yellow stripe
Brown with a blue stripe
Grey
Purple
Black
Brown
Red


The motor it has to go on is a 1965 mercury 500;

The diagram is correct.

If Laddies has told you how to do something, you can be sure that it will not hurt your motor.
