Does anyone have a copy of an older Installation Drawing for late 80's/early 90's Merc 5.0 & 5.7L V8's?
Because back in 2007, I had the option of re-powering with a new TKS 5.7, but the dimension from crankshaft centerline to the top of flame arrestor seemed a few inches MORE (shown on DRW57-001 drawing), than my 1990 5.7, and would cause issues with my engine cover.
I'm just curious if the intake manifold/carb height change was noted on Merc's drawings.
