Please note that the PICTURE UPLOAD function is not working. The iBoats Forum Moderators are working with the system administration folks at the parent company to get the issue resolved. This happened about a year ago and here we are again. In the meantime you can post photos as links to a picture hosting site of your choice. Take off the Distributor cap, grab the rotor, and it should move 1/4 of a turn one way, or the other, then spring back? If not, take off the points breaker plate, and clean, & lube your mechanical advance weights, & springs.

I am still trying to find a solution to this. I have tried everything above. My next attempt may be to replace the ignition system with an electronic ignition.
