Omc 3.0 Question

I am looking to replace my cracked OMC 3.0
Dose anyone know if the Merc 3.7L is the same block as the OMC 3.0
I am wondering what my replacement engine options are that will work with my OMC leg, motor mounts and manifold.

And the fact that the 3.7 is hard to find some of the parts for.
It was the basturd child of Mercruiser...It won't work anyway.

3.0L is a GM engine
3.7L is a Mercruiser Aluminum block (no longer made) with a Ford 460 head on top.

The 3.0L was running YEARS before the 3.7 was designed, and is still in use today, which is Looooooong after the 3.7 went out of production

Find a remaned long block, not a use engine.
