OMC #433378 Thermostat--Can't find--Help!

Hello, I have called my local dealer for this OMC number, he can't find it. I have looked on the web and can't find it. I've looked in my Sierra cataloge can't find it. It's for a 1991 Evinrude 40HP. Anyone have a suggestion.

Try looking for a 433379. I'd bet that'll change things. I'm just amazed the dealer didnt say anything.

Maybe he went to the same surly dealer that's close to my place. That guy wouldn't lift a finger to help you if his life depended on it.<br /><br />If you don't know the right part number, he just sneers at you.<br /><br />As you may guess, I go to another dealer about 10 miles further away. He's really nice about folks fixing their own outboards. Helpful, too.

Thanks for the help. I have bought parts from this dealer before and they are good people. He has put in a call to OMC this afternoon and was waiting for them to call back. I will call him in the morning and see if the #433379 will help. I'll let you know, again thanks for the help. <br /><br />I have learned a lot from this forum sence I signed up about 2 week ago, great place.
