omc 5.0 gm with thunderbolt lV

89 gm 5.0...... i had a points dizzy but my bro in law gave me his merc thunderbolt dizzy and i got it to work motor idles better but one ? i have is that how do i hook up my esa (i think its called) and all my omc to the merc dizzy....

No, the method from that other forum is for the Delco EST ignition, not the Thunderbolt IV.
If you want to get rid of the OMC ESA system completely, then you would wire it like a Mercruiser (see diag below) I would eliminate the ESA and the overstroke switch and use only the shift interrupt switch from the cobra setup.
