Well, mystery is solved. It was indeed just 1 button taht needed to be pushed ..... really hard.
I have got the piece of 2x4 and pushed with BOTH hands. only then it pushed in all the way. Funny thing is that there is a middle position when the button is pushed in and stays in but nothing happens. It confused me.
Anyways thanks a lot for your, guys help! Really saved me a lot of time and effore dissassembling this controller

PB Blaster and WD40 are a boat owners best friend. Remember this as your boating adventures continue.

I have sprayed it with WD40. BTW the controller inside is all covered in grease, so there is no rust.
