<br /><br />Never heard of an OMC 230 OUTBOARD.<br /><br />Sounds to me like you must mean inboard/OUTDRIVE (I/O)engines.<br /><br />OMC (Outboard Marine Corp) only used the OMC brand name on I/O installations as far as I know. All of their outboard engines were named Johnson, Evinrude, Gale, Buccaneer or a store brand.<br /><br />Based on that, I will move this to the I/O forum.<br /><br />Good luck.
