Thanks again I'm cleaning the risers now. I'm glad that flapper came out. Especially if theres a chance its going to rob hp cause hp is my friend considering i never had it in the water yet and its a 26' Stamas hardtop. I hope that the 5.0 gets me on a plane at least.

Here's a pic. Not bad with the aluminum trailer 500 hrs on a new long block a furuno chart plotter and vhf all for the lovely low price of 3K and it has the canvas to enclose it and make it a pilot house. Signs of the economy. Hoping to get some grouper to feed the hungry soon.

Once you do get it out on the water, you want to make sure you are propped to the proper WOT (Wide Open Throttle) range for whatever motor you actually have. If over propped, you will be overloading the engine and it won't last very long. Under propped, and you are loosing top speed and running the engine faster than necessary at any speed.

I may still have a used once alignment bar,,i will look tomorrow.
