OMC Shifter Hight

Does anybody know what the measurement of the shifter rod is? The manual states to use a special "shift length tool" to set the hight of it but never states what the measurement is...(and I dont have the "tool") Thanks.<br /><br />-JustMrWill

7-13/64" to the top of the shift rod.
