OMC Stringers

I found this site while searching for propellers.


It has info and tips on the stringer outdrives and much on the Evinrude/Johnson boats. Hope someone else can use this info or at least find it interesting.

I especially liked the brochure about the "Caddilac Sea Lark"

Seems to be entirely electric (pre 1978) stringers. Unless I'm missing something.

I've used the HHSCOTT site several times and found it to be most informative; http://hhscott.com/evinrude/index.htm.

There's a related site for Evinrude/Johnson boats: http://www.ultimate.com/omc-boats/. Towards the bottom there's a link to get on an email distribution list that I've been on for the last year. I use it to supplement the great info I get on iBoats for '70 vintage OMC stringer drive. Check it out.

thanks for that site. I'll be sure and check it out. Seems there's very little info about these old outdrives
