I am having an issue with my Suzuki Sundown 140( thats what on the cowl). Last week at a fishing tournament i fired it up and the water light came on and the beeper went off. I looked back and it was still peeing just not quite as hard as it was before. I have taken the lower unit off and checked the water pump and to me it looks good, there is some wear around the center of the water pump housing but not terribly bad, the veins are still flexible and dont seem to have a whole bunch of wear on them. No matter what i do even running it with muffs, the beeper wont stop, and the light wont go off. when i started it yesterday for the first time in a couple of days the beeper didnt start until i started the engine, after that it will come on just by turning the key on. Any suggestions?
