Woke up today to SNOW!!! ugh. I am not ready for this. It is only a little dusting but a sign of things to come for sure. I dread those countless hours in the plow when we get some that piles up. Looks like the boat finally will be put away for the winter. Now all we can hope is it gets cold enough around here to freeze the lakes so we can go sit on a giant ice cube and try to catch some fish

Yep, me too. 4" of the fresh white crap. I am not looking forward to pushing it around either. The lakes are starting to get that skim coat of ice, I'll be jiggin' soon!

Our forecast was calling for a foot of lake effect snow today but they canceled that and gave us COLD instead. 20 degrees F for a high today and ZERO for tonight.BRRRR

Even here on Long Island, we got a dusting of snow last night.<br /><br />But I just got my first ski report from Okemo Mtn. e-mailed to me this morning, so I guess its time to plan a trip north to Vermont.
