My XPS 5/5 battery charger is blowing fuses on both banks. As soon as I plug in the charger the inline fuses blow.

The batteries are on a 24V system. I have used this set up for quite a while. Just ran into this problem.

The batteries do charge when i put them on a single bank charger.

Any ideas?

Re: On-Board Battery Charger Blowing Fuses

Have you recently disconnected the charger and then reconnected it for some reason or perhaps replaced a battery or worked on their wiring? Veryify that something didn't come loose in the wiring. Is there a 12/24/Run/Charge switch panel at the bow of the boat in the vicinity of the trolling motor receptacle. Your wiring should look like this. The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the charger has lost its isolation between banks -- meaning the grounds are no longer isolated from each other internally to the charger. To test this, disconnect the jumper between batteries. If the charger now works, that's the issue.

Thanks for the help. I went and looked at the wiring, I had it wrong. Don't know when I changed it. But it is good to go now!
