One side missing spark

I've got a 1991 Mercury 135 "Black Max" two-stroke that's been sitting for some years but ran when parked. In working on the motor, I've gotten it to run sloppily but never to idle and stay idling. When I had first got the motor, I only checked one plug and ripped into getting it running (impatient), but now with how it's running I've concluded that one bank is missing spark (starboard side). From what I can tell, the coils look to be individual from one another, which makes me think that the whole bank going bad is something other than the coils, and I was just wondering where I need to start my troubleshooting and what to do as I'm quite the novice when it comes to outboards. Any help or just general direction is very appreciated, thanks!

Swap the red and blue stator wire between switchboxs, if problem follow its a bad stator, if not it a bad switchbox and replace in pairs only. No cheap Amazon junk.
