So it was time for me to get around to removing my 70hp 4-stroke project motor to make way for my 2-stroke rebuild. I had put this 4S on the back of my boat to do some diagnoses. It needs a new leg, new high-pressure fuel pump and a new powerhead gasket set.
I decided to leave this one for now and concentrate on my other 70HP (95 Evinrude ELEOR) which is being rebuilt from the ground up.
And here are some pics of me pulling the 4S this afternoon. I borrowed a tractor from a neighbour because that sucker weighs 350lbs.
