Outdrive gearlube ?

Does anyone know if Mobile 1 L.S 75/90 Synthetic gear oil is okay for outdrive ? The requirements are to use a GL-5 rated oil. Mobile 1 designates there gear lube L.S and says it can be used where GL-5 is required.I guess the LS stand for limited slip.

Ayuh,.... Donno, but I've been runnin' it in a fleet of Alphas for over a decade, without issues....

Times I've seen water intrusion issues, the oil remains extremely "Slippery"....

Bond-o. Thanks for the quick reply. I figured it would be ok. It say's to use where GL-5 is needed. Got it on sale at the parts store,$6.00 a qt. $16.00 at boat store.
