Outdrive trim pump, where is the power source

At the end of the summer, the trim pump started working intermittently.
At one point, the motor didn't turn anymore, but I could hear the relays clicking.
While testing, I guess a fuse or breaker tripped, because I couldn't hear the relays click anymore.

I removed the relays, and measured all the sockets, and none had +12V ( my meter was referenced to the negative battery post)
I checked all my breakers in the 2 panels, and all is normal.

So, where does the trim pump takes its power from? Is it fused?

PS: the motor had water inside, and both ends of the shaft had rust and the brass bushings were dirty. I cleaned and lubed everything, and it works fine now on the bench.

The control switch should be where the pump gets its power from. Not sure how a Volvo outdrive is set up , Bennet trim tabs are powered that way. You have to follow the hot wire to probably the fuse/circuit breaker panel or the battery.

If your talking about the boat in your sig, the pump gets power from the starter post where the battery cable is connected

Yes, it is the boat in the picture.
But is there a breaker? Someone on FB told me there was a breaker behind the engine. I will check that today.

Yes, there is a 50amp breaker on the motor and a 10 fuse near the pump

Controls have separate power source than the motor

It makes sense that there is a breaker.
Alldodge, I looked around the engine, on the transom, etc, but don't find that 50A breaker.

follow the red and black heavy gauge wires from the trim pump relays (not the green and blue from the switch). where it attaches to the starter.

there will either be a fuse or a circuit breaker.

yes, look at the connection on the back of the starter

Found it!!!!
The breaker is mounted under a bracket behind the engine and beside the big electrical plug.

Thanks guys for giving me the motivation to crawl behind that engine. :)

Being RED on RED was not easy to spot!

Update on my trim motor repair;

I took the boat out for the first time since my repair.
The motor was working fine in my driveway.
On the water, it was working fine at first, then, after forcing at the end of the down travel, it stopped working... for a while, then worked again.

The only thing I remember that was not to my expectation were the spherical brass bushings at both ends of the armature shaft (had some play on the shaft).

I remember being at a bearing shop, and they couldn't get those bearings.

So, is there a place to get those bearings or I'm due to change the whole motor?
Thanks.

Don't know of one, but could check with a local motor shop they may have them, or know where to get them
