Over temperature alarm

Hello everyone.;
I have a 1997 Force 9.9. Does this motor have a over temp alarm. I see a wire coming out of the exhaust cover but I can't tell if it goes to a buzzer. My manual goes up to 1996 and doesn't show anything about it. Thanks for your help!

From what I can see by looking at my manual which goes up to 1999 both the 9.9 and 15hp motors do not have an over heat sensor.
The wire is most likely a ground wire.
