Overheating Suzuki DT4

I have a suzuki DT4 S/N 00402(826548) <br /> Just got it used, it runs well but overheats.<br /> I was told to replace the impeller to the water pump. Can someone tell me how? I have tools and work on anything.Thanks

Hi,<br />It is probably a 1988<br />...(8...)<br /><br />From DT 4 parts list:<br /><br />DT4 VJ ('88 MODEL): 00402-824522~<br />Your DT4 fits in that range.<br />(can not be a 1998 since it has<br />DT4 VW ('98 MODEL): 00402-861001~)<br /><br /><br />I suggest You check if the parts list for Your DT 4 will be enough for You to be able to change the waterpump rubber wheel (impeller).
