Overheating with ear muffs

..but the Merc muffs are foolproof. Once installed properly they cannot come off or move out of position. With the engine running there is nearly no leakage.

You can not use the Merc muffs on the Volvo SX.

Use the type that feeds from both sides with the rectangular ears. I actually have a Volvo SX and this works for mine since day one.

I'd just prefer to not have to fool with the suction port and flush it from the hose connection on the side of the engine.

You flushing adaptor is on the suction side of the pump, if not cappet tightly you will suck air
