overheating

I have a 2001 225 v-max that was overheating I changed the water pump and checked both thermostats they are both working fine but I still do not have much water pressure by the guage or pisser tube motor will heat up even at an idle within 5 minutes any ideas thanks

have ya tried removing the pressure control valve and grommet. using a pick to clean the grommet pocket and installing a new grommet ?it is part of the 200 hour OR annual check.<br /> thats the normal cause of low water pressure, especially at idle.

I found the pressure valve it was clean inside also when I opened up the thermostat housing there were large pieces of grass it was run in shallow muddy water could it be a blockage somewhere still searchin :confused:
