Have a 1956 Johnson QD-17 10 hp. It won't start after you run it and shut it down. I have replaced coils, points and condensers. Could it be the impeller and overheating? Will an impeller go that quickly? Will overheating not let the engine restart? I know it is very bad for engine. What does spit out, but not much when in barrel or lake. this just started the last time on lake. Any Ideas is most appreciated!!!!
