I posted these to help others that maybe having problems with the shifting in and out of gear. I noticed another very important adjustment as well. That is the SHIFT ROD in the outdrive, should be 7-13/64" from the gearcase casting, NOT on the shift rod cover.The gearcase must be in NEUTRAL when setting the shift rod height. It sounds like I know what I'm talking about, but I'm getting this from a page on, http://www.hastings.org/-stuart/cobra/sb4052_4.jpg or just go to hastings.org/-stuart/cobra, should get you all the info I picked up which seems pretty helpful.
