This is a great method to remove oxidation. Good old Comet. What rubbing compound and polishing compound did you use. I was thinking of using 3M restorer after the Comet. Thanks for info-boat looks great

When I bought my boat, the it was oxidized, dull, chalky.
I went with Aqua-Buff compound, polish, then wax. Pretty inexpensive and it is water based for easy clean up. That compound slings everywhere






I compounded and polished once ~ 5 hr job. Then just a spray wax 3 years after.

Yes, I did repaint the red stripe and added the checker graphics.
