??painted drive shaft bellows mounting surface??

The paint shop painted the mounting surface for the drive shaft , shift cable, and exhaust bellows. It's beautiful BUT.... Seams to me that's not good for the continuity wire on the drive shaft bellows. Do I need to sand the whole sealing surface down or just where the continuity clips are on the bellows. They added harder and baked it in an oven they told me. ?????

Ayuh,.... Only where contact is made,..... At all the continuity points,....

Guys I dry fit the drive shaft bellows and the continuity clip dug right in thru the paint. Nice and sharp. Hope that's one reason OEM is better. Seems well built. Thanks
