Sadly, no! The 35 has 2 to 1 gears and a smaller diameter driveshaft. While the engines look almost identical externally, almost nothing is swappable. The 35 is a completely different engine block.
This info is based on slightly earlier 35 engines. If you remove the lower unit and the drive shaft IS the same diameter (which I doubt) Then the lower units are swappable HOWEVER: Since the 35 uses a 2 to 1 ratio while the 50 uses about a 1.6 to 1 ratio, you would need to increase prop pitch by about 2
you do appear to have some sort of tilt/trim. If this firs the 35, it MAYl also fit the 50 as I believe the transom clamps are the same size on both engines. Again, you would need to put the stainless "saddle" onto the 50 yoke for the trim ram to bear on. If there is no provision for a tilt cylinder in the 50 yoke, the the steering yoke and kingpin would need to be changed (if a tilt cylinder is used with that system
