Re: PEE HOLE

Hi,
Suzuki DT25 then? Right?

I had a Suzuki DT65 before and I once had clogged telltale tube. So I used a thin piano-wire thin enough to go into the hole (while running the outboard with a garden house and muff on outboard water intakes) and sure it was mud and sand in the tube, and after cleaned it came a steady stream of water as expected. After I cleanded the tube all was fine as long as I had this outboard.

Hope it helps.

Re: PEE HOLE

hello
I willhave to doublecheck. but I think the tell tale on that motor is a channel in the power head adaptor. some become so clogged the only way to clean them is to remove the power head.
try to use a piece of stainless leader wire and push back into the hole. I also use carb cleaner and the red tube. but if nothing else works you may have to live without it or remove the power head for cleaning. if I find anything to the contrary at work tomorrow Ill post ya back. we have a junk one there I will look at

Re: PEE HOLE

Thanks Rodbolt. You were 100% right. I had to take the power head off and thoroughly clean the water channels and also the tell-tale channel. I will let you know how everything turns off.
Steve
