peeing water but not hot

93' 200 hp ocean pro. had boat out today and ran for an hour or so. when i got it home and was flushing i noticed water was peeing good but not hot like ussual. pulled two hoses off the t-stat. and t stat was pumping hot water out of the 2 outlets. did'nt over heat. wondering if this sounds like a problem.

Not likely a problem as the pee hole water has not gone through the engine. It just proves your pumping water not that your cooling. Best practice is to see if you can hold your hand on top of the head for a three count. If you can your O,K, Best of luck. Rick.

kritters like to make nest in the tale tell hose, and there is not a lot of water pressure on that hose to flush them out. try cleaning with weed eater line. i keep one of these in my boat bag. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93983

there is no restriction. i have pee valve pointing out to the side and it shoots 8-10 ft at idle on hose. just always remembered is being hot water. is the t-stat like a car t-stat?

tstat is similar. opens and closes to keep the block at optimum temperature.
