Re: Pelosi in Syria

Watching the pictures of Pelosi in Syria last night made me sick. You could see that she was just all puffed up with self importance.

She is an abject fool, thinking she is going to go talk sense to these evil regimes. And of course, she has to be critical of the President in the attempt.

What I'd like to know is...who authorizes or officially sanctions members of Congress, who are supposed to be representing us in the US Government & making laws, to be undertaking foreign policy first-hand? No matter who or from what party - is it really in their job descriptions to be nosing into foreign countries at all? Just seems like sending in the plumber to do brain surgery to me.

Don’t know about the brain surgery, could be some thinking out of the box, seeing as the foreign relations debacle this administration is/has been doing so far.

Tree, I believe my post was directed towards liberals (plural). But if the shoe fits....

Pelosi is a self serving socialist dictator wannabe. Anybody that votes for her is a fool, an idiot, or a traitor. Or all three! In my opinion....

Here is this woman who has made the big case for women's rights, women's equality and so forth, going over to these countries like Syria and other places, wearing the hajib, the burqa, whatever it is... Way to go Nancy... what a woman... cow-tow-ing to those chauvinistic pig Moslem men.

I love it.8)

Pointer... separation of powers only apply to when a Democrat is President... ask Bill Clinton.

You should not be surprised KG. This is nothing new. Just a newer variation of sticking your wetted finger up in the air. There is no where they wouldn't go for the sake of winning.

I hear she said to the Sirians that Israel is ready to talk peace.....Israel said she doesnt speak for their foreign policy either....what an idiot......oh and I'm not calling her a name. I'm describing her behavior. Must be a great day in the liberal mind...now lets watch the media skirt it. Or they will spin it as a success..

I'll call her a name. She is a socialist/terrorist-appeaser and a traitor to this country.

How did she come to believe she has the power to make foreign policy. Not only for the U.S. but Isreal, what an idiot. Does speaker of the house equate to queen?
Now everyone knows why that socialist POS needed that 757. To able to fly non-stop to Seria. Afghanistan is probably next on her travel agenda, perhaps to offer America's surrender to Osama.
Our only hope is that America wakes up and cleans house in the coming elections.

WSJ op ed: "Illegal Diplomacy" by Robert F. Turner (Former Assist Sec. State under RR, n' former ABA CHAIRMAN)

another one USA Today Op ed "Pelosi steps out of bounds"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/20070406/cm_usatoday/pelosistepsoutofbounds

[colour=blue]Question for the thinkers out there: If a former ABA Chairman thinks she broke the law, n' clearly the intent of the 20 page Cornstitution is to allow the POTUS to cornduct foreign policy. (unless ya can't read, think,or hear anything), DO YA THINK THE CRIMINAL LUVIN' DEMS WILL CELEBRATE THE CRIMINAL ACT? Me thinks they will, and so will the MSM. This is what the end game looks like, where the Left elites are above the law and the rest of us, (lowly Lefties not in power, lowly Cornservatives in or out of power, n' lowly Independants) are all subject to the criminalization of all things not Liberal.
