Heres a pic after my neighbors and I tossed the top back on. I need to do some grinding of the splashwell to get rid of old bedding compound or whatever it is, then I can rivet the whole mess together. The rubrail will go on, and then its time to work on the interior....

How do you take the top off? Mine has a rubber bump strip that is in a slide out channel. The rubber is so tight it wont move an inch. Not to mention it looks like there is fiberglasss bonding it to the hull from the inside. Did you cut the glass or was yours already cut?

The rubber pulls out. You have to remove an end cap, and pry the end of the rubber strip out, then you can pull the entire strip out. Take your time, you don't want to tear it. Then you can remove the aluminum bracketing. Mine wasn't glassed from the inside, it was stapled together, so after removing three million staples, I could seperate the two halves. If yours is glassed, you will have to cut the glass to seperate the twp halves. Good luck....
