picked up a Cruise Craft Reef Ranger

So I just picked up what I consider an absolute bargain with a Cruise Craft Reef Ranger. The boat is powered by a 1998 Mercury Offshore 135hp which has only done 130hrs, it just had new water pump & full service done. The boat had modifications done in 1999 by a marine company here on the coast which included cutting out the rear transom well and adding a pod on the back giving another 2 ft of deck space, underfloor 130ltr fuel tank, live bait well & iceboxes under the seats. The trailer is only 3 yrs old and has just had all new brakes and an electric winch fitted. It has the Fishfinder/GPS fitted. Has anyone had any experience with these boats? all the reviews I read on the net are positive so far.

Beatiful boat. If I dind't have to compromise with the wife, that's the exact type of boat I'd be looking for. Can't help you with any specifics, just wanted to say I think it's a beauty!

hi mate love the boat, ive been looking around and researching boats this age and style and ive come to the conclusion i have to get a reef ranger and do it up to suit my needs. i like the idea of an extra 2 ft deck space would love to see pics of deck to see how yours has turned out, is there any chance you could post a couple more pics? how much did you pay?

Hey Mate, Boat looks awesome, love to know how much you paid? I am looking at an old run down one at the moment. So I would love to know what the bargain price to buy one would be. I don't want to over spend if I buy this one I'm looking at.
