Picked up a 115hp mercury today from Craigslist, just needs a few wires redone. Also got controls and steering wheel. It's a 76' motor I believe he said did they title out boards at that time? Had a fun time removing everything from the parts boat as thee old man I got it from had a broke arm but he guided me on how to get everything off as I have never removed a motor and controls from a boat before, best part was putting that thing in the back of my Durango by hand. Anyone have any info by the pictures on this motor?

Texas does still title outboards. Hope you got one with the motor. On the pic below if it shows, the circled area on the transom clamp usually has a plate with the serial number;

I know that Texas does require titles for outboards but I know that started in 94 so hopefully I won't need it since mine is 70s model the model number is 3367828
