Picked up my Ranger yesterday!

Hey guys, <br /><br />Just got my first bass boat -- 1981 Ranger 370V, Merc 175HP with lots of extras. It was well maintained. The engine block reads 3/7, which makes me think it was rebuilt in 97. There are other signs that point to it being rebuilt that year. <br /><br />Look forward to chatting.

Isn't it great? I just got a 1986 Skeeter a couple of weeks ago - my first bass boat, too. Got any photos yet? Your profile doesn't say where you're from, are you able to go out and enjoy it or will you have to wait till spring?<br /><br />Dan

Getting your first real Bass Boat is really cool. They are so fun and such a tool. When I got my first Bass Boat, (Ranger), I drove it around town just to show it off. Of course I was much younger then and there just were not many real Bass Boats around then, at least here in Oregon. I saw a brand new Ranger go through town yesterday, I have to admit to being just a bit envious.
