Pics of Like New Circa 1995 Yamaha 9.9

I upload here as the issue is not specific to Yamaha. I can upload there too, or make a post pointing to this one.

I have not yet determined the year of this engine, the ID Plate shows a Model, Code, and Serial number, but no date.

I tried to upload two more pictures of the lower unit where I find it hard to identify where the cooling water intake is. But, the upload would not allow me to add the additional two pictures, perhaps I have reached the maximum upload size.

I have not used the picture upload lately but checking I see the post shows Thumbnails and clicking on that gives the larger picture... makes me wonder how big a picture I can upload. I did downsize the images a lot.

I decided to add the two additional pics of the lower unit in a reply.

The first shows a close up of the "wash" and "oil level" plugs. There are two small open holes near the leading edge of the lower unit, is that the intake for cooling water?

The second shows the bottom of the anti-cavitation plane, there the engine has a larger screened "intake", is that the cooling intake, or perhaps the cooling return.
