Hey all, I have a 68 Evinrude 55 horse, I recently changed the oil in my gear box {lower leg} {bought and installed the right kind according to my Bro's here on iboats "thanks guys"}and when I lifted up my engine after running her in a can yesterday, I noticed that on both sides of the motor just above the top fill line "gear case filler screw" {about 8" back}there are a couple of pin hole size what appear to be overflow holes that had leaked a small amount of oil out of each when I lifted the motor up out of the way. I cannot find any reference to these in the manual, just wondering if anybody knew if this was normal overflow? and 2nd how do these holes keep from getting water in them when I am crusing down the waterway?. Thanks in advance for your time, Denny
