Planning to go out 5/19

Well like an @$$ i thought memorial day was the 19th so i took off that day. Anyone else would like to join for a fishing day of striped bass and bluefish let me know. (Hopefully weather holds up)

when we hit that stupid wood i think i broke a seal in the lower unit as i see some LU oil dripping. Before we go out i will need to drain it and pressure test it again . The good news is when i opened the bottom screw i did not see water. Well i hope that is good news lol.

Got a new tank and line. I am suspecting to have water entered the lower unit also. Ordered impaler and drain plug seals and thermostat. And 12v water pump for flushing motor or boat. Mods are on the way

Sounds good. I will hopefully drain the lu today and pressure test it

Cannot make it !!!

Would it be good to have a page with all our stuff and were we bought it ?

i do not even know what i have to look for if i had to do a pressure test.

I will make a small video on how to do it and what i used. ( you have brand new gear. If you are not leaking Lower unit oil i would not worry about pressure testing your outboard

I am trying to get the day off. I have that Friday off and as of now the following Tuesday. I am trying to see if I can switch the Tuesday to the Monday but things are conspiring against. As it is, it looks like I might get stuck with a 3 week training, if so I could be out of commission for a while. I need to fish hard and fast, lol. Seems the Porgies and Blues are traveling this way... def looking forward to a mixed bag! I hope you guys don't have LU problems... if so, i'm sure i'm in too... and I just got her back together!!!

Got my sta bond, my spoon lures and will refill the Lu oil for mondays trip on Saturday.

1) used my stabond and put some glue on the pinhole. I was informed that if the hole is small i will not even need to put a patch on. It will finish curing tomorrow night and we will see .

2) wil refill my oil on Sat or Sun so i will be ready by 6:30a Monday. The good news is they called off the rain for Monday.

The bad news... I will not be joining you guys on this trip! The worse news... the 3 weeks training is pretty much official. Now the only thing is weather it is as soon as First week of June or Middle of July. Either way i'm gonna miss out but if it is the first Week of June i'm gonna miss out big time!!! blows big time!!!!

Ok part 1 of Monday plan is complete. I had hole which looked like a hook hole. I followed Sinister instruction of just putting glue on it and use the vac so suck air out so the glue can get inside the hole and seal it. I inflated properly 2 hours ago as it reached the 24 hour cure time. Tomorrow i will test for leaks and hopefully I will be good for Monday or Sunday if someone cannot make monday the 19th or our second trip Friday the 23rd.
