Plastic fuel tank fitting glue?

Over the summer the female end threads on my red above deck Tempo fuel tank gas line fitting stripped out so the fuel line keeps popping off. I tried JB weld but it only held for a trip or two. As these tanks are no longer made I have not been able to find a new fitting. Is there any type of goue that would hold my fuel line fitting to the tank's hole? Thanks!

There is no glue or other adhesive that will work. It will only weaken or crack, possibly causing a fire or explosion.

Tempo was bought out by Moeller.
If you call Moeller Customer Service and describe the tank, they may be able to provide the necessary part. I've found them to be very helpful.
