Re: Please help identify this picture.

My thinking is exactly as yours. I went outside to look at the boat, I see a bilge outlet for the bilge pump that is under the engine and saw another toward the bow on the port side however it seems non functional, stuck my finger in it and it's plugged.

Funny thing is I remove the bilge pump screws that hold down the pump bracket minutes ago and there's water squirting upward from the bottom. I got about two 5 gallon bucket of water, but I think there's more. How do I get to the place that I have no access too? I hate to tear up the floor and carpet.

The platform looks original.

Actually an air pressure gauge. Water compresses the air ;)

If we want to get "Technical"... It is a pressure gauge, and doesn't care what the fluid is that produces the pressure. :D

I am confused. The under engine sump pump is usually mounted essentially to the keel.
There usually isn't anywhere below the pump for water to be except the hull and the sea.
What kind of boat are we talking about.

The forward Hull Through could have been for a live well or a cooler.
I have a Hull Through to drain the Glove Compartment! Go figure????

The boat is 1988 Sunbird in post #14 picture. I am sorry I am new to the boat things, I am trying to describe as best as I could. There's only one pump on my boat, which is under the engine. The bilge pump under the engine is screw down to the hull by previous owner as it seem not a factory mounting quality. Yes the water squirt from the two screw hold holding the bilge pump down.

The problem is I have no access to the forward hull to see if there's more water under there or not. My boat sat too low in the water without any passenger as I mention in previous posts. Are there any hidden compartment or special way on checking the forward hull?
