Ok I have a 15' bayliner Capri with a 50hp force on it. So today we hit the pond and it ran 100% did some donuts and all was good then after we fished for a wile I went to move and it would not come on plain it was like it had the power but could not use it. So the boat ramp was like 1/4 mile away and the boat made if there doing 12mh so when I got the boat home I played with the prop and it looked ok plus I jamed the fw and put it in gear and the prop had very little play so I put on another prop and went back out and still it reeves to 5000+ but just dose not seem to be moving fast ( o and I marked the prop from hub to prop to see if it spun and it did not move at all ) also it looks like my trim tab infront of the prop broke off there is only the fin left but there is a open hole into the lower part of the engine. Also it gos in and out of gear great no noises and seems to stay in gear and the lower oil looks good to no metal in it. So please let me know what you think..

If it's what I'm thinking......that trim tab is also the exhaust exit and directs the exhaust from the motor away from the prop. If it's broken, the exhaust gasses could be aerating the water by the prop preventing it from getting a good bite on the water. Pictures would help to confirm.

Yep, that's what's happening. Exhaust gases are aerating the water next to the prop so it can't get a good bite on the water to generate thrust.

I pray that's the problem and I just saw a chunk taken out of the prop that's fresh and was not there before

The part PNW showed you might fit??
You didn't put in the year or model#.serial#.
The style he posted is for the newer motors.90-94
Before that depending on the motor it could be a different one.
