I think he is a scam, i found the same posting in many different state.. I am circling down to a Gregor 15' and a Blue Fin 1986 15' boats. The Blue Fin is $2500 and the Gregor is $3000 . I also found this skeeter, looks very clean.: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/boa/5158517527.html
It is a hard decision, I think I will go to see the Gregor and the Blue Fin. Just seems too small for 2 adults and 2 small kid :)

Are you going to use your boat in saltwater? If so you don't want carpet in the boat. Also, if you get an aluminum boat, and go in the salt never let pressure treated bunks come in contact with the hull. A fiberglass boat will give you a better ride in the slop. Also keep in mind that with 2 small children the boat should have high sides.

No Title

I was thinking about that " high sides" but i can't tell from the photos, and i am working offshore now i can't go to see them. The Gregor doesn't look like to be have a high slides... And I found today an other one called Grumman from 1990 , it looks pretty deep v boat. 16' For $2000 maybe even better choice than that Gregor. The Gregor is 94' and looks like new, but $1000 more. In that point my budget is $3K so I would buy either one just don't know too much about them.Any suggestion? Just found a [h=2]1996 sea nymph with evinrude 40hp 1996 motor. Riveted but no leaks. $3000 Looks like for that money I will get a really good boat. More I found more makes me confused :)[/h]
