Please help!

I work out of town, big two week trip to powell tomorrow at five am. I don't have time to search this problem out on the site.

Two weeks ago I changed the water cooling impeller in my 1991 200 efi Mariner. I just tried to test it. I messed up it will not go into gear. With the hose hooked up to the lower unit it is not squirting water while running.

Can someone give me some suggestions?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

checked key it is in, impeller blowing air through the little water outlet nozzel, not water ????

What is wrong now?

How long did you let it run for? Those engine have HUGE water jackets and it can take up to a minute for the jacket to fill before you see water from the telltale....
