i have a 1998 force 90hp i hit some rocks and bent up my prop and broke the mount bushings in the mid section i have dropped the lower unit and had to cut the bolts that go through the bushing but when i go to replace the bolt and mount bushing im not sure how i am going to get them in does anyone have any suggestions or advice

Heli coil or a decent tap and die set?

When all else fails you can always fix it with your wallet!

Welcome to iboats.

Wow, that was quite a hit.

Check the prop shaft to see if ti was bent also. Even a few thousandths out, can do damage.

Hopefully, with a new mount, it will all slide together.

Let us know how it goes together, and if it doesn't, might help to post some photos.

This is the easierst way to do it!!!!
Look around and get a new mid section.
It's WAY easier than trying to repair something thats been stuck in place for 14 years.
