plug gas tank vent

?? here for the crew. will a plug gas tank vent cause carb to drip fuel after shut down. ??

or cause hydrolock??

reason is after install the second rebuild carb it drips gas after shut down.

ok start it back up let it runs for a while. open the fuel tank cap shut the engine of no more dripping.


what is going on.???

Have you checked fuel pressure to the carb. If there is to much pressure it can cause the problem.

I don't see how it could happen, but it sure sounds like it has some kind of effect. So, why don't you just check the vent? Also check the hose and make sure there isn't a low spot in it that could hold fuel an block the vent.
I've seen mud dauber wasps plug vents with their nests.

Me, too. Had my bilge outlet plugged by them this spring. Last Sunday it was plugged again, but this time it was a praying mantis nest...never seen one of those before...

hey dons will that cause my rpm to reach 4100 rpm and caunt go no more with two diffrent props
a 15x15 ss and a 17 ss both give the same wot rpm .

puzzel a man iam just going to ride it antil something dies. just fed up

Being that there different brands and the diameter changed (got larger) also, it's very possible.
