point gap

can anyone tell me what the point gap is suppose to be on a 1966 mercruiser 4cyl 120 i have the manual but it does not say.

.018 should get it running to check the dwell.

There is no setting it's set by a dwell meter. A srarting point is about 18-19
The dwell I think is 29-30.J

dwell is 31*-34*

ya should get one of them mercruiser s/m. it has the info in it ya need. like point gap...
